Mr. Stephen Duodu
Mr. Stephen Duodu is an electrical engineer with over twenty-five years of experience in electrical engineering, energy efficiency, conservation, and audit in public, residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. He has worked as the Lead Expert and Consultant under a GIZ-sponsored Ghana Energy Efficiency project for Small and Medium Enterprises and Households, including schools, health, and public facilities. Additionally, he has collaborated with organizations such as ICF, USAID, and Integrated Resilience Resource Planning for the energy master plan for Ghana and 21 strategic public institutions. Mr. Duodu has also served as the Lead Energy Auditor for Econoler of Canada and the Lead Expert for the Energy Commission under the Promoting Appliance Energy Efficiency and Transformation of Refrigerating Appliance Market in Ghana project.
His other notable contributions include the installation of 50 units of capacitors in Public Tertiary Institutions and serving as Assistant Team Leader in a consortium of the Energy Foundation, The Brew Hammond Energy Centre of KNUST, and Enercom Africa. He has also worked as a Project Engineer for the Electricity Company of Ghana Limited.
Mr. Stephen Duodu has served on the Boards of the Millennium Development Authority and the Energy Commission of Ghana. He is currently a board member of the Ghana Integrity Initiative. In addition to his board membership, he is a member of several Technical Committees of the Ghana Standards Authority and the International Electrotechnical Commission National Committee of Ghana, contributing to the development, adoption, and adaptation of National Standards.
Mr. Duodu is a member of the Ghana Institution of Engineers, the Institute of Chartered Accountants, and the Ghana Bar Association. He holds master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering (MSc) and Economic Policy Management (MA), and he is also a Barrister of Law, Chartered Accountant, and Certified Sustainable Energy Audit Professional.
Mr. Stephen Duodu is currently the Executive Director of the Energy Foundation and an Associate of Arta Law Advocate.
