Mr. Jacob Tetteh Ahuno

Programmes and Research Officer

 

Mr. Ahuno is currently the Programmes and Research Officer with responsibilities including Project Coordination, Research and Monitoring & Evaluation.

Mr. Ahuno joined GII in May 2014 as a Programmes Officer. Prior to joining GII, He worked with Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) as the Editor for the National Apprenticeship Programme (NAP) - Master Trainer Baseline Survey. There, Jacob was responsible for training field officers, assisting the Project Manager in conducting matching meetings and other administrative duties.

Mr. Ahuno holds an MPhil in Development Studies majoring in Development Finance from the Institute for Development Studies, University of Cape Coast and a BA (Hons.) Social Science – majoring in Economics, Statistics and Mathematics from the University of Cape Coast.

Jacob has led the implementation of broad range of GII Programmes and Research activities including Social Accountability Project (2020 to 2023), Migration Project (2022-2024), Accountable Mining Programme (2019 to 2021), Defence Integrity Programme (2019 to 2020), Accountable Democratic Institutions and Systems Strengthening Project (2015 – 2019), Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and forest Degradation (REDD+) Governance and Finance Integrity Project (2014- 2017)
